My sincere sympathy and prayers go out to Verona's family. With St. Barbara's in Witt being an essential part of my life growing up in Witt, Verona, as well as the entire Sarsany clan, is so much a part of my wonderful memories of childhood there. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace!

I am so sorry to hear this. I always had admiration and such respect for Verona and the Sarsany family. When she and her sisters/friends couldn't see to drive to play bingo out of town, I took them all several times. She (as well as Nicky) always were so nice to me and never wavered in asking how my family was doing. I will truly miss her beautiful smiling face. May she fly high with the angels, cause she sure was one here on earth.
