Verona Irene Sarsany

Verona I. Sarsany, 90 of Witt, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020 at her niece Lori’s home in Hillsboro surrounded by her family.

Ms. Sarsany was born September 19, 1929 in Witt to Helen (Kisak) and Martin Sarsany.  She was a clerk for several businesses.   She was a member of St. Barbara’s Catholic Church in Witt and St. Louis Catholic Church in Nokomis.

Verona is survived by her brother Paul (Marie) Sarsany of Witt and many nieces and nephews.

Ms. Sarsany was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Michael Sarsany, Steven Sarsany, Andrew Sarsany, John Sarsany, Nick Sarsany and sisters Anne Nowickas, Helen Hmielak, Kathryn Sommers, Mary Yarro and Margaret Holthaus.  Also, a brother, John in infancy.

A private family mass will be held.
