Urith M. "Dot" (Niewinski) Birkenkamp

Urith M. "Dot" Birkenkamp 89 passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 in Heritage Manor-Pana, IL. The daughter of Alvis and Ina Maude Ferguson was born May 25, 1931 in Walshville, Illinois. Dot married Joseph Niewinski, he passed away, she married Arthur Moreland, he passed away, she married Fred Birkenkamp, he passed away.

She is survived children Mary Kay (Ken) Buchanan of Clevland, Texas, Linda Dirks of Nokomis, Jeffrey (Julie) Niewinski of Taylorville, Jean (Bill) McCall of Nokomis, Juli (Glenn) Wilbur of Pana, grandchildren Tony Woodall, Tricia Abrams, Michael Dirks, Kelli Gregg, Jason Niewinski, Rhett Niewinski, Nikki Wanger, Rachel McCall, Justin Wilbur, Trevor Wilbur, Torrey Wilbur, 22 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Steven in infancy and a sister Audrey Wilman and brothers Ed and Bernard Ferguson.

Dot was a high school graduate and head cook at Nokomis High School and head cook at Golden Manor Nursing Home.

A private family graveside is planned at a later date.  Memorials are suggested to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
