Trista Dawn Casey

Trista Dawn (Pease) Casey, 38 of Witt, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at her residence in rural Witt. She was employed with Advantage Nursing. Trista was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Nokomis, IL. 

Trista was born April 17, 1984 in Taylorville, Illinois to Dale and Opal (Sickles) Pease. She graduated from Lincoln Land Community College after earning her LPN.  Trista enjoyed spending time with her family and her boyfriend, Michael Cunningham. 

In addition to her parents she is survived by her children Jaydah Casey, Devalyn Casey, Japheth Casey, Noelan Casey and Alexis Casey all of Witt; siblings Ronel Pease of Nokomis, Patsy (David) Challans of Ramsey and Jimmy (Leslie) Pease of Ramsey.

Funeral services for Trista will be held Friday, June 10, 2022 at Stiehl Dawson Funeral Home of Nokomis at 10:30 AM with Pastor Chris Huff officiating. Burial will follow at Oconee Mound Cemetery in rural Oconee. Friends and family may attend visitation Thursday, June 9, 2022 at the funeral home from 5 PM to 7 PM.
