Tincie I Sabol

Tincie I. Sabol,79, passed away Saturday August 23, 2025, at 12:36 pm at Taylorville Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation Center with her family by her side.

Tincie was born in Decatur, IL on March 4, 1946. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, Irene and Harold Ruppert. She married John E. Sabol  on March 27, 1965 in the St. Louis Catholic Church in Nokomis. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Nokomis, loved St. Louis Cardinals Baseball, spending time with her friends playing the machines, her dog, Lola, and a great steak. Nothing, however, compared to spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Dawn Sabol of Nokomis, JJ (Erin) Sabol of Nokomis; her grandchildren, Brayden (Isabelle) Sabol, Carter (Chloe) Sabol, Audrey (Tanner) Sabol, Alivia Sabol, Zach Wieland, and Jacob Wieland; and nephew and niece, Matt and Caryn Stokes.

In addition to her parents, Tincie was preceded in death by her husband, John, and her daughter, Niki Wieland.

A visitation will be held at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis on Wednesday August 27, 2025 from 4 pm until the time of service at 6 pm. In celebration of her life, a Memorial Service will begin following visitation and officiated by Pastor Prumm.

Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and a private burial will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Montgomery County Cancer Association or Nokomis Athletic Club.
