Teresa Beth (Foster) Bianchi

Teresa Bianchi, 64, of Nokomis passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024, at her residence.

Teresa was born July 25,1960 in Hillsboro, Illinois to George and Nedra (Fish) Foster.  She was a Nokomis High School Graduate with the Class of 1978. She graduated from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville with her bachelor’s degree in nursing and spent the next 36 years in nursing.   Teresa worked many years in the area, in Louisville, KY and St. Louis as a nursing home administrator and clinical educator.

She married Emile Bianchi in St. Louis MO on October 29, 2005, at the St. Louis Police Officers Association Hall. He preceded her in death in 2018. In addition to helping people every day in her nursing career, Teresa enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces. A highlight of moving back to Nokomis was reconnecting with her high school friends Rhonda, Darlene, Diane, Kathy and Carol. But most of all she loved her cats Blue, Bert, and Sissy and her dearly departed dog, Wyatt.

Teresa is survived by her brothers Mike (Sue) Foster of Nokomis, Danny (Kathy) Foster of Fillmore, and Barry (Renae) Foster of Warner-Robbins; her sister Dana (John) Witzig of Sanford, FL; and several Nieces.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Donaldson and a sister, Brenda Epley.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 10 AM to 12 PM Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow at 12 PM, with Pastor Jeff VanDyke presiding.

Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in St. Louis.

Memorials are suggested to the Christian Mission in Nokomis.
