Steve Blasko

Steve Blasko 92, of Plainfield, Illinois, formerly of Coalton passed away, Saturday August 17, 2019 at Amita Health Medical Center in Bolingbrook, IL.

Steve the son of Michael and Katherine (Hudak) Blasko was born July 27, 1927 in Coalton, IL. He went to St. Louis Catrholic School in Nokomis and graduated Nokomis High School. He served our country in the Army Air Force from 1945 thru 1946. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, Nokomis, Clearing Post 600 of the American Legion. He was a millwright at American Can Co.

Steve is survived by his sister Mary Blasko his brother Peter James (Pete) Blasko both of Decatur, IL., his special friend of many years Nancy Morowczyski, a newhew John (Mary) Blasko of Huntley, Il a niece Janet (Tom) Rexelny of Batavia, IL. and many loving great nieces and nephews and their families.

Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday August 24 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church, Nokomis, Il. with The very Rev. Albert Allen V F officiating. Visitation will be in the church from 9:30 to service time. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Nokomis , Il. with military rites by  Waples/ Bauer Post 94, Nokomis American Legion.  Memorials suggested to St. Louis Catholic School, Nokomis.
