Shirley Ann Lemanski ,89, passed away September 2nd, 2025, at 1:00 pm at home with her family by her side.
Shirley was born in Peabody, MA on October 22nd, 1935. She married Robert E Lemanski on March 3rd, 1957, in Peabody, MA. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church of Nokomis. She also was involved in the Nokomis Women’s Club. She enjoyed baking and decorating cakes, but what she enjoyed more than anything was spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids.
She is survived by her children, Robert (Miguela) Lemanski, James Lemanski, Susie Witt, Linda Waldrop, Diana (Nestor) Crepin, Angela (Tyrone) Edwards, Jennifer Twitty, Sisters; Grace Bullerwell and Margaret Lemanski, 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, her brother in infancy David Fernandes, two grandsons: Gavin Twitty and Robby Lemanski.
A visitation will be held at St. Louis Catholic Church in Nokomis on Friday September 5th,2025 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. In celebration of her life, a Mass of Christian Burial will be following at 11:00 am.
Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Nokomis.
