Shirley M (Ferry) Allen

Shirley M. Ruther Allen of Palatine, Illinois, formerly of Witt, IL passed away November 30, at Aperion Care Plumb Rose, Palatine. Shirley was born August. 15, 1937 in Morris, Illinois. She married James H. Ruther Sr. May 31, 1958 in Chicago. He preceded her in death July 14, 2002.

Shirley is survived by daughter Ann Farley of Spokane, WA., son James H. Ruther of Ashton, IL., daughter Laura (Ed) Mills of Hillsboro, IL., grandchildren Dr. Kelly (Dr. Chandler) Hill,  Kenneth Farley, Michael Gibson, Jennifer Gibson, great grandchildren Evelyn K. Hill, Clara J. Hill, Clay Gibson, Hunter Atkinson, Daxton Lutz, Madeline Olson. She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother Charles Ferry.

Shirley will be buried in St. Barbara’s Catholic Cemetery, Witt, Illinois at 11:00 am Friday
