Shane Joseph Horve

Shane Joseph Horve, 28, of Nokomis, passed away Saturday July 29, 2023, at Hillsboro Area Hospital in Hillsboro, Illinois.

Visitation for Shane Horve will be held Friday, August 4. 2023 at Stiehl Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis, Illinois from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM with funeral services immediately following at 11:00 AM.  The burial will follow the services at Edinburg Cemetery in Edinburg, Illinois.

Shane was born November 10, 1994, in Springfield, Illinois to Bradley Horve and Debra Disney.    Shane and Stephanie Townsend were married August 6, 2016, in Taylorville, Illinois.  Shane was a construction worker with H. D.  Exteriors in Nokomis.  Shane is survived by his wife, Stephanie and their 4 children, Carley Townsend, Claire Horve, Carson Horve, and Carter Horve all of Nokomis.  His mother, Debra Disney of Taylorville and 4 siblings, Trevor Horve of Taylorville, Rylee of North Carolina, Andy Foster of Taylorville, and Tommy Foster of Taylorville.  Also surviving is his grandfather Lester Disney of Taylorville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bradley Horve.
