Sandra Grigg

Sandra Kay Grigg, 79 of Witt, IL passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 1:16 p.m. at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL. Sandra was born on March 31, 1947, in Hillsboro, IL, the daughter of Alfred Pearse and Pauline Loretta (Mclean) Pearse. Sandra married Oral Grigg in 1994 and he preceded her in death. Sandra was a member of the First Baptist Church of Nokomis, she enjoyed garage sales, thrifting, spending time with family and crafting.

Sandra is survived by her son: Eric (Dee) Williamson of Mattoon, IL; Khristy (Jeff) Vruggink of Zeeland,MI. Grandchildren Daylan Williamson, Chloe Williamson, Allie Quillian, Samuel Vruggink, Kelby Goff and Skyler Goff, great-grandchildren Abele Williamson and Riley Quillian; brothers: Larry Pearse and Gary Pearse; sister: Marilyn Carver and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Granddaughter: Gracie Faith Williamson; Sisters: Kathy Settle, Sharon Lindstrom, Nancy Huddleston, Patricia Curry and Brother: Dennis Pearse.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis, IL.

Following the visitation Sandra will be cremated and there will be no service.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Nokomis.

Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis is assisting the family with  arrangements.
