Ronald Lee Zeifang, 81, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away on September 13, 2025.
Born in Hillsboro, Illinois, to Wallace and Irma (Engleman) Zeifang, Ronald served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and remained active in the American Legion.
He earned a Master’s Degree and worked for many years at Piper Manufacturing, where he was respected for his reliability and work ethic. In retirement, he especially enjoyed meeting friends for breakfast at Mrs. Mac’s Fillin’ Station.
Ronald is survived by his son, Brian (Jaycilynn) Zeifang; his cherished grandchildren, Machaela, Mason, Josiah, Boden, Liam, and Annalise Zeifang; and his loving partner, Karen Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Glenda (Zeifang) German.
A celebration of life and memorial service was held September 19th, 2025 at Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach, Florida.
A visitation will be held at Saint Paul's United Church of Christ in Ohlman, Illinois, Saturday, September 27th, 2025 from 10 am until 11 am. In celebration of his life, a Funeral Service will be held following the visitation, officiated by Pastor Steve Nance.
Burial will follow at Ohlman Cemetery.
