Robert Lee Durbin

Robert Lee Durbin 90, of Witt, Illinois passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 11:08 pm. in  Hillsboro Rehab & Healthcare.

Bob the son of Walter Durbin and Thelma Redman Durbin was born May 1, 1929 in Irving, Illinois. He married Imogene M. Armentrout Octobert 20, 1949 in the Witt United Methodist Church. She passed away December 31, 2016.  He is survived by children Roberta (Duane) White of Macon, Kim (Lynnette) Durbin of Maumelle, Ark. Connie (Don) Smalley of Nokomis and Roger( Carol) Durbin of Witt, grandchildren Michael, Chris, Shannon, Brett, David, Tim, Heather, Ryan, Sammy, Kristin and Eric, great grandchildren Cody, Travis, Haliegh and Kole, great great grandchildren Collin, Hannah, Zoey, Kaleb, Landri, Avaianna, Alexander, Lucas, Jordan, Bailey and Kain, brother Ralph (Reese) Durbin of Bettendorf, Iowa and sister Kay (Toni) Ballan of Shattuc, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Imogene and brothers Harold, Kenneth and Alvin "LeRoy".

Bob was a Caterpillar retiree. a member of the Witt Lions Club, Witt Methodist Church, Lay leader in the church, Irving Masonic Lodge, Ansar Shrine, former county board member and former president of the Nokomis/Witt Ambulance board.

Funeral services will be held Saturday May 18, in the Witt United Methodist Church at 10:30 am. Burial will be in Witt Cemetery. Visitation will be in the church on Friday, May 17, from 5:00 to7:00 p.m.

Memorials suggested to the Witt lions Club and the Witt United Methodist Chuirch.
