Renee Kuethe, 57, of Witt passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis, MO.
Renee was born on March 24, 1966, in Hillsboro, the daughter of Wayne and Elaine (Broers) Kuethe. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Nokomis and graduated from Witt High School with the Class of 1984. Renee went on to work for the Illinois Department of Revenue for several years, and then Graham Correctional Center until her retirement. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, but her greatest enjoyment came from camping with her friends at Nokomis Sportsmen’s Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Roger Kuethe.
Renee is survived by her sister, Diane E. Tester of Nokomis; companion, George Morse of Witt; nieces, Tricia Havera, Kara Dobyns, and Kelsey Goldsmith; nephews, Chris Kuethe, Dan Tester, and David Tester; and several cousins.
Visitation & Funeral Ceremony: The family will receive friends from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 8, 2023, at the Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home, 4 East Broadway, Witt, IL 62094. The funeral ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jay Martin officiating.
Interment will follow the ceremony at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Nokomis.
