Raymond Phillip Emerson

Raymond Phillip Emerson, 72, of Ohlman, IL, passed away Sunday, November 27, at 10:56 A.M. at HSHS St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, IL.

He was born on March 1, 1950 in Missoula, Missouri, a son of the late Asbury and Armella (Westrich) Emerson.

Raymond married the former April Joy Edwards on May 23, 1987 in Kinkaid, IL, and she survives.

Raymond was a former Police Officer for the city of Raymond, IL and retired from the City of Kincaid water/street department after 15 years. Most recently, he worked for Schneider Farms for the past 15 years. He loved spending time with his family and friends and playing guitar.

Brothers, Lawrence and Dury Emerson

He was preceded in death by his brothers, John and A.B. Emerson.

A Memorial Gathering for Raymond Emerson will be Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.  at the Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis, IL

The family of Raymond suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
