Paul W. Schwarm

Paul W. (P.W.) Schwarm  93 of Ohlman passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at St. Johns Hospital Springfield, IL.  Paul the son of Floyd and Elsie (Forbis) Schwarm was born August 12, 1927 in Pana, IL. He married Florence Huttes in 1964 in Ohlman. She passed away October 30, 2010.

He is survived many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and siblings Benjamin Schwarm, Floyd Schwarm Jr., Mildred Pieper and Gerald Schwarm.

P.W. was a member of the United Church of Christ in Ohlman, and a trucker and W. W. II veteran in the Army.  He was a member of the Waples Bauer Post 94 Nokomis American Legion, Nokomis Lions Club. He and Florence took great pride in  many trips for over 20 years delivering truck loads of clothing and supplies to Appalicia, Kentucky, Indian reservations in Arizona and Arkansas.

Graveside services will be held in Ohlman Cemetery with military honors by the Nokomis American Legion.
