Patsy "Pat" Farrell Epley, 86, of Nokomis, Illinois, passed away Sunday, June 19th at 7:56 P.M. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Illinois.
She was born on December 25, 1935 in Pana, Illinois, a daughter of the late Lester “Bud” and Caramae (LeMay) Niehaus.
Pat married Louis Epley on February 20, 1955 in Taylorville, IL and he preceded her in death on November 16, 2021.
She graduated from Nokomis High School and was a homemaker taking care of her first priority, her family.
Pat bowled for many years and played softball until the age of 60. One year she even played on the same softball team with her three daughters. She also took pride in watching her children's and grandchildren's sporting activities.
Pat loved animals, in particular, cats, dogs and especially horses.
She is survived by her children, Edward “Rocky” Epley, Terry Epley both of Springfield; Tammy (Marvin) Johnson, Barry Epley, Monte (Pacie) Epley, Toni Robertson all of Nokomis; Tracy (Cathy) Epley of Hillsboro.
Grandchildren, Nathan, Ryan, Blake, Deidre, Cody, Brock & Megan and14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral mass will be held Friday June 24 at 10:30 am in St. Louis Catholic Church, Nokomis with visitation Thursday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 at the church. The Rosary will be at 3:30 Thursday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to St. Louis Catholic School and Montgomery County Cancer Association.
