Pamela (McElroy) Contreras

Pamela Contreras 59, of Nokomis passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021 at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri at 11:35 am. Pam the daughter of Michael and Vivian (Higginbotham) McElroy was born May 1, 1961. She married Thomas Contreras. They divorced.

Pamela is survived by her mother Vivian of Nokomis, children Devon (Leann) Coots of Nokomis, Jamie Phelps of Valsalia, CA., Shari Contreras of Pomona CA., Kaya Contreras and Kenny Contreras both of Pomona, CA., grandchildren Paige, Payton, Kiana, and Kira, siblings Dennis McElroy and Sandra Busche of Nokomis, Teri Williams and Brian McElroy of California, also many nieces and nephews and many friends. She was preceded  in death by her father Michael and brother Daniel. Pam loved horses and collected nickle and gems and she would have given the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She could make friends wherever she went.

Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 3:00 pm. in Woodside Cemetery, rural Irving, IL. Visitation will beTuesday from 2:00 to 2:30 pm in Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home, Nokomis, Illinois  Memorials are suggested to Montgomery County Cancer Association (MCCA).
