Niles Wayne Bass

Niles W. Bass 73 of Taylorville formerly of Nokomis passed away Tuesday , October 6, 2020 at 6:31 pm in Taylorville Care Center, Taylorville, Illinois.  The son of Ross and Fern (Barker) Bass, Niles was born December 17, 1946 in Irving, Illinois. He is survived by daughters Lennette (Mike) McBroom, Michelle Bass, son David (Michelle) Bass, 9 grandchildren Zach, Sarah, Riley Lyn, Katie, Kristan, Dalton, Melissa, Melody and Madison, siblings Everett (Pam) Bass, Mary Huffines, Dodie Bell all of Taylorville, Gary (Diane) Bass of Elgin, Oklahoma and Dale Bass of Mattoon He was preceded in death by his parents.

Niles was a laborer his lifetime.  He was an avid New York Yankees Fan and a U.S. Army veteran.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020 in Oconee Cemetery.
