Nancy was born December 4, 1945, in Hillsboro, IL to Paul and June (Helfer) Obregar.  She attended Nokomis High School and graduated with the Class of 1963.   She and Lawrence (Sonny) Johnson were married on October 19, 1963 and he preceded her in death on July 15, 1968.  She later married Terry Spencer Flowers on January 10, 1971, and he passed away on April 3, 2011.

Nancy could be found on Saturday at her parents’ supper club, Paulie’s. After Sonny passed away, Nancy returned to college and became an LPN working various jobs until her retirement.  She and her husband, Terry, were owners of Snappy Lube in Litchfield for many years.  She was a member of Omicron Delta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, a monthly trivia group with friends and was Chairman of the Young Republicans and ran Jim Edgar’s campaign in Montgomery County when he was running for governor.  Nancy’s joy was being surrounded by her family, often spending time at the lake swimming, boating and could be heard saying “Terry you’re too closed to the shore”.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her sister, Penny Patricia Obregar.  She is survived by her children Tracy Johnson Flowers (Tim) Mizera of Raymond, Christoper Paul Johnson Flowers of Hillsboro, Megan Danielle Flowers (John) Kindernay of Hillsboro, Terry Jason (Sandra) Flowers of Irving and Mary Jane (Steve) Brookshire of Fillmore; 19 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren and Izzy, her precious dog.
