Michael James Ryan

Michael James Ryan 62, of Nokomis passed away at 7:40 am September 11, 2019 at his home in Nokomis.

Mike the son of Willard James Ryan and Bess Dvorak Ryan was born September 26, 1956 in Chicago.  He married Lois Porter, Lisa Jewell then Robin Hunter. He is survived by his mother Bess, wife Robin of Collinsville and step children Mackenzie Hunter and Joshua Hunter,  2 nieces and 1 nephew. He was preceded in death by his father, brother Patrick John Ryan and a nephew.

Mike was owner operator of Ryan's Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning and Electrical for 28 years.  Mike had served in the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam Era. He was a member of A.F. & A.M. Nokomis Masonic Lodge # 456 serving as Master several years and Ansar Shrine.  Mike had been a member of the Nokomis Rotary Club. Mike was a member of the Nokomis Fire Department for 32 years

Mass will be held Monday September 16, 2019 at 10:00 am in St. Louis Catholic Church. with full military rites. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home, Nokomis with Masonic Rites at 7:00 p.m.

Memorials suggested to St. Louis School or Shriners Crippled Children Hospital.
