Mary Ann Robinett (Janssen), 80, of Raymond, IL, passed away October 13th, 2022 at 3:15 P.M. at her home in Raymond, IL. She was in the company of her loving family.
She was born on July 28, 1942 in Rountree Township, Nokomis, IL, a daughter of the late Brunke Dirk “Dick B.” and Mary Londa (Warnsing) Janssen.
Mary Ann married Winston Robinette, Jr. on July 22, 1961 and later divorced.
Mary Ann graduated high school and went on to work at the State of Illinois where she retired from the Titles Division after more than 35 years of service.
She was a member of the St. Raymond Catholic Church. Mary Ann was also a strong supporter of the St. Louis Cardinals and enjoyed watching the games. Mary Ann enjoyed her genealogy work, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
Mary Ann is survived by 3 remaining children, son, Larry (Heather) Robinett of Ferguson, MO, son, Wendell (Tammy) Robinett of Orange Park, FL, and daughter Cindy (Chuck) Sale of Raymond, IL; grandchildren, Tyler (Sarah) Robinett, Mallory (Zach) Kershaw, Marissa Robinett, Ashley Robinett, Kelsey (Casey) Rosenthal, Haley Hough, Benjamin Robinett, Claire Robinett, and Zachary Sale, and 3 step-grandchildren; Amber Pruitt, Jessica (William) Watts, and Daniel-Chase Pruitt; great-grandchildren, Easton Kershaw, Noah Robinett, Finn Robinett, Henry Robinett, and Bentley Rosenthal; sisters, Martha Kay Reed of Nokomis, and Margery Fay Al-Adobi of St. Louis, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Katherine Jean Williams (Robinett), a brother, Paul Eugene Janssen, and a sister Meta Rose Brookshire (Janssen).
Visitation will be held Monday, October 17th, 2022 between 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. with a service immediately following visitation at Stiehl-Daswon Funeral Home in Nokomis, IL. Interment and graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 19th for the immediate family only at 4:30 PM at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Raymond, IL.
