Mary Blasko 99, of Decatur, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Randle House, Decatur, Illinois.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday November 23, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Louis Cathiolic Church, Nokomis, Illinois with visitation an hour and a half prior to services. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Nokomis. Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home, Nokomis is handling arrangements.
Miss Blasko was born on April 9, 1920 in Coalton, Illinois. Her parents are the late Mike and Katherine (Hudak) Blasko.
She is survived by her brother Pete Blasko of Decatur, her nephew John (Mary) Blasko of Huntley, and many loving great nephews and nieces and their families, and Janet the widow of James (a deceased nephew). She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Steve, Mike, John and Steve,and sisters Ann and Helen.
Mary was a homemaker. She was noted for her beautiful handwriting. Mary also loved Cross Stitching, Quilting,and enjoyed Cooking. She earned her GED in 1970. Mary was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Decatur.
Memorials are suggested to St. Louis Catholic Church or St. Louis Catholic School, both in Nokomis.
