Marvin "Cochise" R. Carroll

Marvin "Cochise" Ray Carroll 81 of Coalton passed away Tuesday October 20, 2020 at 12:08 pm in Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, Illinois. The son of William and Clara (Jacobs) Carroll, Marvin was born November 23, 1938 in Ramsey, Illinois.

He married Beverly Hicks December 2, 1956. She survives as do their daughter Vivki (David) Fleming of Hillsboro, grandchildren Joshua (Laura) Fleming of Coffeen, Shayla (Michael Glenn) Staggs of Springfield, IL, great granchild Brooklyn Fleming, brother William Lloyd Fleming of Vandalia. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Nova, Ralph, Alva and LeRoy Carroll.

Marvin was a heavy equipment operator and worked for the township.

The family held a private graveside service Friday, October 23, 2020 in Nokomis Cemetery.
