Marie Osborn, 70, of Nokomis, formerly of Witt, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Nokomis Health and Rehab.

Marie was born in Iowa on February 26, 1953, the daughter of Doug and Christel (Menke) Tamosaitis. She married Fred Osborn in Chicago, IL.

Marie lived a good portion of her life in Chicago before moving, 20 years ago, to the area and building a life with her family. She was a waitress and cook, had a wonderful work ethic, which she passed on to her family. She was a home body, loved animals, glass dolls, reading and going to the library. Marie was a typical mother and grandmother who loved to spoil her family, especially the grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Holly Osborn of Witt, IL; grandchildren, Kyler, Christel, Kalvyn, Kegan, Kay-Lee, Kamie, Kashton, River; and great grandchildren, Noah, Garett, Journey, and Mya.

Cremation will be provided, and no public services will be held.
