Louis “Louie” Oliver Cesaretti, 97, of Nokomis, IL, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 7:45 A.M. at Carlinville Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Carlinville, IL.
He was born on February 11, 1922 in Kincaid, IL, a son of Carlo and Erma (Burchi) Cesaretti.
He graduated from high school and was retired as a Tool & Die maker at Caterpillar in Decatur, IL and was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Louie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the American Legion, both in Nokomis, IL.
He married the former Eula Jean Hagemeier on July 5, 1947 in Nokomis, IL and she preceded him in death on August 11, 2000.
He is survived by his children, Jerilyn Broaddus of Carlinville, Michael (Judy) Cesaretti of Muskegan, MI; 7 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 5 great- great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister, Rose Langen & brother, Pete Cesaretti.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 4:00 P.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Nokomis, IL. Pastor Bert Eickhoff will officiate. Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 3:45 at the Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis, IL. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Nokomis, IL.
