Lois F. Stewart 93 of Nokomis passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 at 1:55 am in Montgomery Rehab & Healthcare, Taylor Springs, IL.
Lois the daughter of Hollie and Lula F. (Tuhn) Chambers was born January 1, 1928 in Jefferson, Iowa. She married James E. Stewart April 5, 1951 in Nokomis. He passed away December 9, 1984. She is survived by children Sister Mary Catherine Stewart O.P. Brookfield, MO., twin sons David (Janet) Stewart, Dennis (Pam) Stewart of Nokomis, Lois Ann (Guy) Moroff of Springfield, IL, 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a brother Wilbur (Corky) Chambers of Orange, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Charles Chambers, Mary Ellen Milavec, Evelyn Oller and Rita Mae Smith.
Lois was a farm wife, high school graduate, a member of St. Louis Catholic Church of Nokomis and a member of the Foresters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at 10:30 am. in St. Louis Catholic Church with brial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5: to 7:00 pm in Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home, Nokomis. CDC GUIDLINES SHALL BE FOLLOWED ALLOWING GROUPS OF 10 OR LESS, MASKS ARE REQUIRED. PLEASE MOVE QUICKLY.
