Lloyd Eugene "Gene" Andries

Lloyd Eugene "Gene" Andries, 51 of Witt passed Thursday, February 22, 2018 in the emergency room of Hillsboro Area Hospital at 2:44 a.m.

Gene the son of Lloyd and Betty (Martincic) Andries was born April 9, 1966 in Nuremberg, Germany. He married Audra Miller and they divorced.  He is survived by sons Heath Andries of Fillmore and Travis Andries of Witt, brother Jeff Andries of Nokomis, and sisters Julie Walker of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Marissa Andries of Springfield, Illinois.He was preceded by his parents.

Gene attended the University of Illinois and Lincoln Land College. He was a laborer and worked for Hillsboro Glass, Aumann Auctions as well as others. He was an avid outdoorsman and like fishing but loved his dogs.

Funeral services will be Sunday February 25, 2018 in Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home, Witt, with Pastor Myron Kirk officiating. Burial will be in Witt Cemetery and visitation will be from 1 :00 to 2:00 p.m. sunday in the funeral home in Witt.
