Kenneth R. Tosetti, 86, of Nokomis, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024, at his home.
Friends and family may call at Stiehl Dawson Funeral Home; 200 East State Street, Nokomis on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Stiehl Dawson Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will held be on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at St. Louis Catholic Church, 311 South Elm, Nokomis at 11:00 AM with Father Michael Meinhart officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Nokomis.
Kenny was born July 18, 1938, in Pana, Illinois to Paul and Theresa (Dalpiaz) Tosetti. He attended St. Louis Catholic School and graduated from Nokomis High School with the class of 1956. Following graduation, Kenny graduated from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale in 1962. On October 30, 1961, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, proudly serving as a Medical Specialist. Kenny and Maxine Bradley on February 28, 1964, at the St. Louis Catholic Church and she preceded him in death on May 19, 2011. He was proudly employed for 35 years at Caterpillar in Decatur, Illinois as Director of Supplier Quality.
Some of Kenny’s favorite pastimes were walking, riding his bicycle, mowing the yard, and riding his Honda Goldwing. He was very proud that he built his and Maxine’s home.
Kenny is survived by his son, Todd (Karrie) Tosetti of Nokomis; daughters, Tina (Mike) Keefe of Chandler, Arizona and Stacey Tosetti also of Chandler, Arizona; granddaughters, Isabella and Natalia Menin and his sister, Linda (Gary) Martin of Scottsdale, Arizona in addition to many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, Maxine and his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Tosetti.
