Kenneth J. Brooks, 82, of Oconee, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Heritage Manor in Pana, Illinois.
Services for Mr. Brooks are Thursday November 3, at 1:00 pm with visitation from noon to 1:00 p.m. at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis. Bural will held at a later date.
Mr. Brooks was born March 28, 1940 to Audrey and Katherine (Haycox) Brooks in Battletown, Indiana. Kenneth and Barbara Bauerle were married on May 25, 1963 and she survives. Mr. Brooks served his country in the United States Army. He was a farmer and was of the Methodist faith.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children: Lana Jo (Patrick) Schweitzer of Springfield; Kenneth Brooks, Jr. of Oconee; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and sister Patsy (Paul) Marley of Oconee.
He was preceded in death by his siblings: Everett Brooks; Delores Brown and Russell Brooks.
Services for Kenneth Brooks will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Stiehl Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis. Visitation will be held from nnon to 1:PM prior to service.
