Justin Daniel Stokes

Justin Stokes, 29, of Nokomis, Illinois, passed away on December 12, 2025. He was born on May 8, 1996, in Taylorville, Illinois, to Jennifer Stokes and Cecil Stokes.

Justin was a loving father to his daughter, Lilith Stokes, who meant everything to him. He took pride in being her dad and loved her deeply.

Justin enjoyed logging and fixing things and was happiest when he could work with his hands. He was always willing to help others and never hesitated to lend a hand when someone needed it. Above all else, Justin loved being around his family and friends. Time spent with them was what mattered most to him.

He is survived by his daughter, Lilith Stokes; his parents, Cecil and Jennifer Stokes; and his siblings, Steven Townsend, Stephanie Horve, Shelby Townsend, and Chris Stokes, all of Nokomis, Illinois.

Justin will be remembered for his kind heart, his willingness to help others, and the love he had for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
