Jeffrey W. Irvine

Jeffrey William Irvine 68 of Witt, IL. passed away in his home October 5, 2018. Mr. Irvine the son of the late William Davis Irvine and Patricia Ann (Zogg) Irvine was born December 24, 1949 in Paris, Illinois.  Jeff grew up in Paris, Il. and was an avid athlete playing baseball, basketball, track & field and football during his school years. In 1970 he joined the United States Marines and served in Viet Nam.

August 24, 1974 he married Margie Ann Yeske daughter of Leland Dale Yeske and Marjorie Doris (Jones) Yeske, they were married till her passing June 15, 1998.   He is survived by their only child Jason Robert Irvine (wife Melanie Ranae(Cress) Irvine) of Hillsboro, grandchildren Chloe and Emily Irvine, step mother Pat Irvine of Paris, Il and sister Mrs. Jane Salan of Ormonf Beach, Florida.

Jeff was a  1980 graduate of Sangamon State University with a BS in Criminal Justice. He retired from the State of Illinois Department of Public Health.   He was an animal lover and avid St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Bears and Fighting Illini fan.

Services will be Friday October 12, at 1 pm in Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home, Nokomis with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Witt Cemetery. Memorials suggested to Montgomery County Paws Care   PO box 25  Hillsboro, IL  62049
