Jean (Tarvin) Storm

 Jean Storm, 90, of Nokomis, IL, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 12:04 A.M. at the Nokomis Rehabilitation Center in Nokomis, IL.

She was born on February 28, 1929 in Pana, IL, a daughter of Clyde and Dollie (Bryson) Tarvin.

She graduated from high school and then went on to further her education. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Nokomis, IL.

She married Floyd E. Storm on June 26, 1949 at Trinity Lutheran Church and he preceded her in death on March 8, 2011.

Mrs. Storm is survived by her children, Kathy (Scott) Hahn of Clinton, TN, Sherrie Brachear of Harrisburg, IL, Cinde (Phil) Steele of Lafayette, IN, Floyd (Cheryl) Storm, Jr. of Irving, IL, Denise (Chris) Allen of Coalton, IL, Dennis Storm of Hillsboro, IL & Kelly (Kent) Lovelace of Fillmore, IL; 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; siblings Barb Diehl of Rockland, CA, Jerry Tarvin of Taylorville, IL, David (Roseanna) Tarvin of Jacksonville, FL, Tom (Jody) Tarvin of St. Louis, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a grandchild, sister, Dorene Kearney & brothers, Robert and Arthur Tarvin.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Nokomis. Pastor Bert Eickhoff of Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:30 -11:00 A.M. at the church. Burial will be in the Nokomis Cemetery.
