Jean Lehman

Jean Lehman 97 of Nokomis passed away at 7:20 am Thursday in Nokomis Rehab & Healthcare. The daughter of the late Charles O. and Margaret (Wentz) Miller, Jean was born June 6, 1923 in Nokomis.

She married Cletus Lehman May 2, 1951 in Nokomis . He passed away January 25, 2016 after 64 years of marriage.  She is survived by daughters Patricia (James) Seay of Kansas City, MO., and Bonnie (Harlan) Brown of Raymond, 3 grandchildren Chad (Samantha)  of Farmersville, Todd (Amy) of Raymond, Stacey (Dennis) of Lee’s Summit, MO., 2 great grandchildren Kaitlyn of Raymond, Samantha and great great grandson Landon of Lee’s Summit, MO. and special daughter Nancy Waterman of Decatur. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sisters Shirley Lenzi and Marjorie Benvenuto.

Jean was a wife, cook and mother.  She loved visiting with her family and friends.  

Private family funeral services will be held Sunday at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home, Nokomis, Illinois

Memorials may be directed to St. Louis Catholic Church, Nokomis, IL. Or St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
