Janice J. (Meier) Franzen

Janice J. Franzen, 74 of Chandler, Arizona, formerly of Nokomis, Illinois, passed Tuesday April 10, 2018 at Archstone Care Center, Chandler, Arizona.

Janice the daughter of Walter J. Meier and Ida Tuetken Meier was born December 7, 1944 in Hillsboro, Illinois. She married Carroll J. Franzen September 10, 1967 in Nokomis, he survives. They have son Keith Franzen and wife Nancy Franzen with 3 daughters from Gilbert AZ.,  and daughter Sheila Franzen and partner Cynthia Nustad and 2 daughters from Chandler AZ.

Janice was a RN, a graduate of Memorial School of Nursing, a member of the Illinois Nurses Assn. and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Nokomis IL and Epithany Lutheran Church, Chandler AZ.

Funeral service will be Friday April 20, 2018 at 11:00 am in Trinity Lutheran Church, Nokomis with visitation 2 hours prior in the church. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Lutheran Cemetery, rural Nokomis.
