Jane Alana (Cress) Cress-Tuchmann

Jane Alana Cress-Tuchmann 55 of Nokomis passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 1:20 p.m. in St. John's Hospital, Springfield, Illinois. Jane was born December 13, 1964 in Lincoln, Illinois. Her parents were  John and Alana (Dasovich) Cress. Jane married Doug Tuchmann and they divorced.

Jane is survived by her son Drew Tuchmann of Nokomis, daughter Brittany (Stephanie) Herrera of Chicago, grandchildren Kaylee Tuchmann and Jayson Tuchman. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Eric in 2009.  She was a paralegal and had an associate degree. Jane was an avid cardinals fan and very avid Blues fan. Jane had been a correspondant for boys sports events and loved her community. She donated very frequently to the Nokomis food pantry. She enjoyed her dog Freese and a good iced coffee. Her grandchildren lifted her spirits and made her world a bit brighter.

Funeral services wil be Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 12 noon in  Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home, Nokomis, Il. with burial in  Cress Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro, Il. Visitation will be from 10 am till service time in the funeral home Saturday morning.
