James Ray "Scotty" Sneddon

James Ray "Scotty" Sneddon 72 of Nokomis, Illinois passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 at his home in Nokomis. 

Scotty the son of James McGarity Sneddon and Normagene I. Spinner Sneddon was born December 3, 1946 in Pana, IL. He married Shirley E. Simmons May 21, 1966 in the United Methodist Church, Nokomis, IL.  She survives as do children Kimberly Sue Brown, Kerry L. Sneddon and James M. (April) Sneddon, grandchildren Mitchell & Mariah Brown, James D. and Emma Jane Sneddon and Allison Sneddon all of Nokomis, sisters Patricia (Dale) Burg of Springfield, IL. and Kristina (Steve) Shelton of Pawnee, IL.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 8, 2019 at 11:00 am Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Bert Eickhoff officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm in Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Nokomis Cemetery.
