James Allen Lynch

James (Jim) Allen Lynch, of Nokomis, passed away Monday, April 24, 2023 at his home.

No public services are planned and Stiehl Dawson Funeral Home of Nokomis is assisting the family

Jim was born January 12, 1951 in Hillsboro to Robert Merle and Lorene Mae (House) Lynch. He and Janice Marie Brown were united in marriage on May 24, 1969 in Nokomis and she survives.  He attended Nokomis High School and went on to work at Central Illinois Stone for over 20 years.  He then went on to work as a custodian at Nokomis Community Schools for 20 years before retiring.

He is survived by his mother, Lorene of Nokomis,  wife, Janice Marie of Nokomis and daughter, Julie Marie Lynch of Hillsboro,  Also, his sisters Doris (Dale) Mizeur of Blue Mound and  Luci Fournier of Nokomis and brother, Robert (Kim) Lynch of Shelbyville.

Memorials can be directed to Montgomery County Animal Shelter or Paws Care of Montgomery County.
