Hortense L. Tootie (Gonet) Guyot

Hortense L. "Tootie" Guyot 94, of Nokomis passed away Friday, June 26, 2019 at 8:52 a.m. in Hillsboro Area Hospital, Hillsboro, Illinois.

Tootie the daughter of Hubert and Mary Pintar Gonet was born September 1, 1924 in Hillsboro, Illinois. She is survived by one daughter Brenda Bauman of St. Louis, Missouri and 2 grandsons Marc and Jeff Bauman both of Englewood Colorado, a sister Pricilla Gonet and a brother Joe (Marilyn) Gonet both of Coalton, Illinois. Tootie had been married to Gebo Guyot. She was a beautician and a member of the St. Louis Catholic Chuirch, Nokomis, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters Annabella Gonet and Mary Thomas and 2 brothers, Henry and Hubert Gonet.

Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday August 10, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church, Nokomis, Illinois. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery, Nokomis. Visitation will be in the church from 9:00 a.m. till service time.

Memorials are suggested to St. Louis Catholic School, Nokomis.
