Heather Marie Billingsley

Heather Marie Billingsley, 48, passed away January 24, 2025, at her residence.

Heather was born January 2,1977 to Ronald H. Billingsly and Judith Ann Unzicker in Danville Illinois. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, shopping at the thrift stores, hiking in the mountains, and traveling to Hot Springs in Colorado.  She enjoyed spending time with Alicia, her friend, and going out of state with her on their family trips. She was a talented crafter and could make something out of nothing. She was a beloved grandma, daughter, sister and mother. She adored to play around and dance with her granddaughter Layla, and play dress up and do karaoke. She loved to video chat with her other grandchild, Chris Jr and her son Christopher. She was a very strong-willed and resourceful person, an amazing friend to all.

In addition to her mother, Heather is survived by her children: Christopher (Shawna) Billingsley, Mckenzie Funk, Mckayla (Nicholas) Funk; grandchildren, Layla Rae Marie and Christopher Jr.; her brothers, Jonathan and Bryan Billingsley and nephew, Nicolas (Meghan) Billingsley and Lucien Billingsley.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crosspoint Human Services, Domestic Violence Women Shelter.

Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis is assisting the family with arrangements.
