Harvey Lee Engelhart

Harvey Lee James Engelhart, 77 of Nokomis passed away Friday May 22, 2020, in Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, Illinois at 10:12 am.  The son of Harlan  "Skin" and Eunice Turchi Engelhart, Harvey was born December 17, 1942 in Pana, Illinois. Harvey married Paula Bowrey October 15, 1967. She survives as do sons Richard Scott Engelhart of Nokomis, Michael Lee Engelhart and Jason Kent Engelhart both of Coalton and daughter Jodi (Michael) Dirks of Nokomis and grandchildren Tyler, Bryce, Sydney and Kellene Engelhart, Dylan Dirks, Adam Engelhart, Madison Brown, Cameron Engelhart and Cloey Dirks, sisters Judy Sanders, Mary Sparks and Carla Hoffman all of Nokomis and a brother Jerry (Sheri) Engelhart of Pana.

Harvey was a U. S. army veteran serving during Vietnam and a member of Waples/Bauer Post 94, Nokomis American Legion.  He retired as a mechanic and assistant foreman at the rock quarries.

A private family funeral will be Wednesday, May 27, with a limited visitation Tuesday at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Nokomis.  Memorials suggested to MCCA-Montgomery County Cancer Assn. and  Nokomis-Witt Ambulance Service..
