Gregory N. Donaldson                1951 – 2021

Gregory N. Donaldson, 70 of Nokomis, IL passed away in his home on Sunday, May 9, 2021. Greg was born on Feb. 12, 1951 in Peoria, Illinois.  He is survived by the love of his life, Debbie Rhodes of Nokomis, IL., 3 sons, Mark (Sandy) Hill, Greg aka Fod (Heather) Hill, Zack (Jessica) Donaldson & one daughter, Sadie Donaldson.  Also survived by Debbie’s sons; Ryan Spellman & Victor Chain Pickle. Three sisters, Connie Donaldson of Murphysburo, Il., Lorri (Kelly) Thompson of Fallon, NV., Molly (Rod) Orgill of Coalville, UT., one brother, Doug (Deb) Donaldson of Sugar Grove, IL., 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, many nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Staff Shroyer, in 2006; his father, Norris Donaldson in 2006; two brothers, Steve Donaldson in 1971, Mike Donaldson in 2013.

Greg was a very accomplished floor covering installer & was very sought after for his attention to detail in this trade. He traveled a unique yet interesting path during his life’s journey, he lived life his way & on his own terms.  Greg was loved very much by his family & friends….he will be missed!

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be scheduled at a later date.
