Grace Arlene Meier

Grace Arlene Meier 78, of Martinsville, Indiana passed away at her residence Monday morning March 5, 2018.

Grace the daughter of Delbert Garwood and Cleo Oller Garwood was born August 22, 1939 in Witt, Illinois. She married Marion D. Meier in 1957 at Witt, Illinois. He passed March 28, 1999.

She is survived by a son Walter (Cheryl) Meier of Greenwood, Indiana, grandchildren Heather Matchette, Rebecca Davis, Zachary and Jeff Meier,5 great grandchildren siblings Norman Garwood and sisters Alice Lindsay & Carol Owens.  She was preceded by her husband, parents, a son Jeffery sister Nancy Gruen and brothers Gerald & Delbert Garwood

Graveside services will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Nokomis with a visitation from 10 to 11 am Friday at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home, Nokomis.
