Gene Edward Schneider

Gene E. Schneider 71, of Nokomis passed away Friday, July 16, 2021 at 8:40 pm in Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, Illinois. The son of John E. and Wilma G. (Sievers) Schneider was born April 29, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan. Gene was a high school graduate, a minister, a member of A.F. &  A.M. 456 Masonic Lodge Nokomis. Gene was a member of West Side Christian Church, Springfield, IL. Gene married Katie Germain February 14, 2010. She survives in Lincoln, IL. He was very passionate about the St. Louis Cardinals and Ventriloquism.

Services will be held Tuesday July 20, 2021 at 11:00 am in Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home, Nokomis, burial will follow in Nokomis Cemetery.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.
