Frank Edwin McLaughlin

Frank E. McLaughlin 84, of Nokomis passed away at 4:35 A.M. on Saturday,  September 26, 2020, in Montgomery Nursing & Rehab, Taylor Springs, IL.  The son of Herbert Earl and Mary Catherine Japp McLaughlin was born October 24, 1935, in Sarina, Ontario, Canada.  He married Connie Bradley December 18, 1971. She survives as do a brother Fred (Carol) McLaughlin of Courtright, Ontario,Canada, as well as nieces & nephews Alan, Kevin and Jason McLaughlin, Maitland Noyle, and Ed Bradford.  Great nieces & nephews Jessica, Matthew, Martin, Jordan, Sidney and Kaitland.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Betty Noyle, and nephew Dale Bradford.

Frank had attended school for eight years. He was was a Canadian Merchant Marine, long haul semi-truck driver, heavy equipment operator, worked on pipelines all over the world and retired from Nokomis Rock Quarry. He belonged to Nokomis Masonic Lodge #456 and Ansar Shrine.

There will be no public services and his remains will be returned to Canada at a later date.
