Fae Anna Alexander

Fae Anna Alexander 93 of Witt passed away Friday, October 26 at Tremont Ridge Assisted Living in Hillsboro, IL. Fae the daughter of Archie Friese and Luwanda Whitten Friese was born May 20, 1925 in Alto Pass, IL. She married James Dow Alexander March 14, 1947 in Hillsboro, IL. He passed July 19, 1994. She is survived by daughters Sharolyn (Michael) Hoskinson of Colorado, LuAnn (John) Flowers of Bartlett, TN. Lorraine (Jeff) Martin of Nokomis, son J. Steven (Susan) Alexander of Ft. Wayne, IN. grandchildren Sarah, Rachel, Jameson, Emily, Katherine, Brittany, Brooke, Jessica, Bethany and Benjamin and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Byron Dwain as an infant, grandchild Jennifer Alexander and brother Arlie Lynn Friese.

Fae Anna graduated from high school and attended college for 2 years.  She was a member of the Woodside Church Community. She was a member of Montgomery County Homemakers/ Extension for over 50 years.

Funeral services will be held Thursday November 1, at 1 pm in Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home, Nokomis with Pastor Steve Manning officiating. Visitation will be from 11 to 1 at the funeral home with burial in Glendale Cemetery, Fillmore, Illinois.

Memorials suggested to Special Olympics of Illinois, Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance or Quad County Hospice.
