F. Darline Spears

F. Darline Spears 83 of Hillsboro formerly of Coffeen and Nokomis passed on Sunday November 25, at 12:40 am in Hillsboro Rehab and Healthcare Center.  Darline the daughter of Walter Arter and Velma Swires Arter was born July 15, 1935 in Carlinville, IL.She married Carl K. Spears October 19, 1952 in Carlinville and they just celebrated 66 years of marriage. He survives, as do daughters Pamela S (Allen) Mehochko of Nokomis, Patricia L. (John) Spears-Heinel of Lovettesville, Virginia, sons Wesley D. Spears Hillsboro, IL Jeffrey (companion Shelli Bowels) Spears of O'Fallon, IL. Grandchildren Tina, Jeremy, Brendon, Brianna, Matthew, Sally, Jennifer, Miranda, Rebecca and 10 great grandchildren, brother Duane, (Gerry) Arter of Tuscon, AZ., 1/2 sisters, Patricia Alderson of Florida,  Evia (Paul) Stephenson of Hoyelton, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Alice Bowen.

Darline was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Chuirch, Choir director of the church, a member of the Easter Star, and Beta Sigma Phi.

Funeral Services are planned for Saturday December 1, 2018 at 2:00 pm in Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home, Nokomis, IL. with burial in Glendale Cemetery, Fillmore, IL. Visitation will be from noon til service time Saturday.

Memorials are suggested to Glendale Cemetery, Fillmore, Illinois.
