Edward "Ed" Thomas Hargrave

Edward Thomas Hargrave, 76 of Nokomis, IL passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 3:00 A.M. at his residence.

He was born on November 23, 1945 in Hillsboro, IL to the late Harry and Marjorie (Powis) Hargrave.

He graduated from Witt High School. He married Kathleen Niemi and they just celebrated their anniversary in August.

Edward worked in the auto body industry for 30 years and retired as a heavy equipment operator.

He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the Operator’s Union.

 Mr. Hargrave is survived by his wife, Kathleen of Nokomis, and children:

Hugh “Skip” Cassidy of Mohomet, IL

Eric Cassidy of Pea Ridge, AR

Dawn (Kent) Voils of Nokomis, IL

Brandon (Joli) Hargrave of Springfield, IL

Grandchildren, Samantha (Connor) Creasey, Cassidy Voils, Elizabeth Voils, Holt Cassidy and Gavin Cassidy.

Brother, Robert (Carol) Hargrave of Pheonix, AZ

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Dolores Hargrave.
