Edward Elmer “Ed” Gleich, 75 of Nokomis passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 9:50 AM

Mr. Gleich was born August 2, 1945 in Pana to Genevieve (Eichelroth) & Cletus Gleich.  He graduated from Nokomis High School and after graduation worked in carpentry, construction and sold real estate.

He and Sherri Grace Osborn were married in 2001.  Ed loved his dogs that he raised for many years and selling real estate was his passion.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Nokomis Sportsmen’s Club and St. Louis Carpenters Local.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his step children Craig (Banee’)  Ulrici of Fillmore, Heather (Brett) Sheahan of Hazelwood, Missouri, Crystal (Chris) Cole of Holly Hill, Florida and 6 grandchildren.

Services for Ed Gleich will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Stiehl Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Nokomis.

Memorials can be directed to World Vision or Shriners’ Children Hospital.
