Dorothy Victoria (Lange) Johnson

Dorothy Victoria Johnson, of Nokomis passed away at 1:25 A.M. Wednesday, February 27, 2019 in Tremont Ridge, Hillsboro, IL.

Born November 28, 1923 in Carlinville, IL. to Otto and Nellie Wiese Lange, she was raised on a farm near Carlinville and graduated from Carlinville High School.  She was employed at the Farmer's Merchant Bank, Praire Farms Creamery, and Production Credit Association in Hillsboro. On June 15, 1947 she married Orville Johnson and was a homemaker and farm wife in rural Nokomis.

Survivors include her husband Orville; children Duane (Chris), David, and Delores, grandchildren Kyle, Karen, Dayna and Adam; great granedchildren Owen, Logan and Evan; sister Melba Dugan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister Edna Allen and a daughter-in-law Lois.

Dorothy was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Nokomis and Trinity Lutheran Couples Club, Pork Producers.

Her visitation will be Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 9:00 to 10:45 am at Trinity Lutheran Church with funeral services to follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Bert Eickhoff officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in rural Nokomis.
